Sugar Free Trick or Treating

Do you think the kids get too much candy on Halloween? (like that's really possible). How about handing out these cool and inexpensive, sugar free Halloween treats. At less than $0.10/ea they are quick and easy to put together.

  • Cut a piece of 12 x 12 designer paper into 3" x 6" strips.
  • Then score the bottom at 1" and the top at 2 1/4".
  • Cut some white paper into squares measuring 2 7/8" x 2 5/8". (I used inexpensive sketch paper my daughter had lying around)
  • Fold the 1" section of designer paper down, insert the paper squares into the fold and staple.
  • Fold the other section up and tuck under the 1" flap to close.

That's it!  Your all done and you have a great sugar free Halloween treat!

  • Designer Paper:  Frightful Sight (122351)
  • Misc:  Staples, Sketch or Copy Paper

Batty Halloween Tags

Today I have some batty Halloween tags for you.  Wouldn't these be great tied around some halloween treat bags.  Your trick or treaters will love them!

To create these tags I used two of my favorite stamp sets, "Every Little Bit" and "Teeny Tiny Wishes". Both of these sets should be staples in any stampers inventory. Between the two sets, you will have enough phrases and images to create cards for any occassion.

  • Stamp Sets:  Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370), Every Little Bit (WM: 117096 or CM: 120558)
  • Ink:  Basic Black Classic Ink Pad

  • Punches:  2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch (118874), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850)

Trick or Treat, Scary & Sweet!

Today is the the first day of fall so I thought it was the perfect time to start working on Fall themed projects. These super cute Halloween treat bags are the first of many Fall projects I have in store for you!

Making the toppers is easy. Just take a piece of 4" x 3" black card stock and fold it in half to create a 2" x 3" topper.  Cut a piece of designer paper 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" and attach to the front of the topper. Stamp the Trick or Treat greeting, punch out with the postage stamp punch, mount on a piece of black cardstock and attach that to the topper. Tie a bow with 1/4" black ribbon and and you're all set.  The only thing left to do is fill one of the Stampin' Up! small cello bags with your favorite treat, attach the topper and they are ready to give.
